The quotation becomes necessary for your painting or sculpture as well as for your collectors and professionals who follow you on the international art market (buyers, internet).  
In order to obtain a quotation, one must be sold by an auctioneer close to your public prices, during catalogued contemporary and modern auction sales every year.

A minimum sales price is to be determined according to the value of you painting. It is advisable that your collectors be informed of this sale, so that they can back you up, and buy your pieces in an auction sale if you have never participated to one before.

This will allow you not only to be sold but also to have an official quotation, established by an official record of a public auction sale.

One must not forget the importance of quotation in case of inheritance...
